Pre-departure Checklist

Off on your next adventure soon? There are a lot of things that are involved in planning for a holiday. It is not just planning the trip, packing and leaving. There are many factors involved in regards to travel preparations, at home preparations and some last minute tasks.

For example, if you are going overseas, you need to make sure you have at least 6 months left on your passport from when you arrive home. If you are leaving the home vacant while you are away do you need to organise a house sitter? A pet sitter or simply a neighbour to collect mail and put the bins out? Not to mention the last minute tasks like watering your plants and emptying your indoor rubbish bins, so you don’t come home to dead plants and a smelly house!
